Sounds of Pittsburg: Downtown with the PHS Marching Show Band On Saturday, October 3, 2026, from 5:00 to 7:30 PM, the Pittsburg High School Marching Show Band (PHSMSB) comes to John Buckley Square in downtown Pittsburg for a free evening of live music. The event is free and open to everyone, so bring a chair and your family. The night features the school's music and performance groups. The full Marching Show Band opens and closes the show. In between are Show Flags, the 9th Grade Jazz band, the Drumline, the PHS Jazz Band and the Jazz Ensemble. There's also a Community Drill Down where the audience can take part, and a Youth Spotlight featuring young musicians who could join the band in the future.
