Parks & Trails
Pittsburg's park system runs from neighborhood playgrounds to the Delta shoreline — green space for a picnic, a run, or an afternoon with the kids.
Most parks are open dawn to dusk and free to use. If you spot something that needs fixing — a broken sprinkler, graffiti, a downed branch — the City's Public Works line is the fastest way to get it looked at.
Buchanan Park
One of Pittsburg's flagship parks — sports fields, a playground, and shaded picnic areas that host everything from birthday parties to youth league games.
Small World Park
A recently reopened neighborhood park with updated play equipment — a favorite for families with younger kids.
Pittsburg Marina waterfront path
A paved walking path along the water with views of the Delta — popular for an evening stroll, a jog, or watching the boats come in.
Delta shoreline trails
Pittsburg sits right on the Sacramento–San Joaquin Delta — several access points along the waterfront connect to walking and biking routes with Delta breeze views.
